Hello folks!! A very Happy New Year to all of you :). Do you all make new year resolutions every January? Am I the only odd one out :P. I don’t make any promises to myself. No commitments at all. I am pretty useless like that :D.
But I know that I want a lot of baking to happen in “2017”. And this Banana Chocolate Chip Waffle recipe is a perfect start to the new year. Waffles make for such a great breakfast. And when paired with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, they make a grand dessert as well :D.
I am more of a waffle person than a pancake person. The crispy outsides and the soft flavorful centers make for a yummy treat. Since it’s a New Year and we are all trying to be healthy, I have made these waffles with oat flour instead of plain flour. Trust me, you won’t miss the plain flour in these. Also there is no added refined sugar. The bananas and dark chocolate chips lend the perfect sweetness to these guilt free Banana Chocolate Chip Waffles. The batter is a breeze to make and the ingredients are super handy. The one thing that is required is the Waffle Maker. Please purchase one if you don’t already have it.Your kids and family will love you for it :).
