I kept wondering for so many days, as to what our first post should be. And then finally I thought, it should be something “Chocolatey”. After all “All we need is Love or Chocolate” 😀 And it had to be a simple one too. So, heres it- An Eggless Brownie with Marbled Icing. Its one Yummy recipe, you should definitely try. Don’t mind the pictures, we were in a hurry to eat 😉
Brownie with Marbled Icing
Ingredients
- 1 and ½ cups maida(less 3 tbsp)
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup Curd
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- Handful chopped nuts(almonds, walnuts)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180 celcius and grease and dust a baking pan
- Sift and mix together maida, cocoa powder, powdered sugar.
- Add baking soda and baking powder.
- Now add 1 cup curd and mix well. Allow to stand for 5-10 minutes.
- Now mix in oil, vanilla essence and nuts.
- Bake in the prepared tin for 30-35 minutes or till skewer inserted in comes out clean.
- Make some dark chocolate ganache and some white chocolate ganache separately.
- Pour 150 gms hot cream over 250 gms chopped dark chocolate. Mix after few seconds to smoothe the ganache. Cool before using.
- Similarly make some white chocolate ganache. Pour 50 gms hot cream over 80 gms chopped white chocolate. Cool.
- Now pour the dark chocolate ganache over the brownie. Sprad evenly. Drop the white chocolate ganache over it in big drops and swirl with a toothpick. Create your own artistic pattern!
