This is my dad’s favourite cake. He has been getting this cake from an old bakery since our childhood. He loves it.
In my attempt to bake it, I had to make sure it tasted at least similar to it, if not better. It’s always a risk to bake something that can be compared to a classic. Phew!!
But luckily, he was totally impressed with it. I heard him telling mom-If she can bake it even better than his, why should I get it from outside! Voila!!
That’s a huge compliment for me, because it’s really hard to get dad to appreciate anything :D.
It’s a lovely cake. Perfect with your favourite cup of tea/coffee.
I baked this tutti fruity cake for our morning breakfast and our entire house was filled with this lovely smell of cake.
Bliss 🙂
