Hello fellas! Summers are here, and the proof is the mango I saw with the fruit seller ๐
So let’s welcome summers with this simple refreshing recipe-“White chocolate mousse shots with mango puree”.
Mango is my favorite fruit and for me summers are about mangoes ๐
So when mum brought the first mango of this season, I decided to experiment with it ๐
It’s a very simple recipe and needs just 4 ingredients. So let’s get going!
Ingredients
- 150 gms Chopped white chocolate
- 1 1/2 cups Chilled whipping cream
- 1 tsp. Vanilla essence
- 1 large mango
Instructions
- Melt the chopped white chocolate with 1/4 cup cream on a stove top at medium heat and while stirring continuously. Let it cool.
- Pour the remaining chilled whipping cream in a large bowl. Add the vanilla esence to this. Keep the electric beater and bowl in the freezer for a bit. Now, beat the cream till soft peaks form. Careful not to overmix.
- Add the whipped cream to the melted white chocolate and mix gently.
- Peel and cube the mango and puree it in a blender. Chill before using.
- Take about 2 tbsp. Mango puree in a shot glass.
- Top the puree with a generous dollop of prepared mousse slowly. Tap the glasses gently on a flat surface to remove air bubbles. I was in too much hurry and dint tap well ๐ Garnish with a drop of mango puree or chopped fresh mango cubes.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours and serve chilled.
Notes
Be careful not to over whip the cream as it takes only few seconds for it to turn into butter!
Makes about 12 shot glasses of refreshing mango dessert
This is a great party dessert and can be prepared in a jiffy. It is so refreshing and the pop of yellow looks lovely!! An impresive dessert that’s tasty and easy! Crowd pleaser ๐
