Peanut Butter Muffins with Oat Streusel and Nutella Filling

Peanut Butter Muffins with Oat Streusel and Nutella Filling

I have been trying to motivate myself to make something without chocolate! I must tell you, it’s very difficult :D. Even these Peanut butter muffins with oat streusel that I baked yesterday needed some last minute nutella filling and chocolate chips sprinkled on top! My instagram feed is full of colorful fruity bakes for inspiration. I even bought plums and peaches to make something with them. But after few days of procrastination and not letting anyone eat them, we finally relished them the other day! I was actually relieved because now I wouldn’t have to feel guilty for not baking […]

Carrot Coffee Cake

Carrot Coffee Cake

I am not a Carrot cake person.I will never order it in a bakery. I am a loyal chocolate fan with a complete bias for Chocolate Desserts. I like carrots only in my mom’s gajar ka halwa. But I have been wanting to do something with pumpkins and carrots for a while. Both for the blog and for those of you who like such desserts. See, I am sweet like that :P. The carrots are so fresh and juicy in this season. I would be a fool not to use them now. But I am really not a fan of […]

Bailey’s Coffee Streusel Muffins

Muffins are probably the simplest goodies one can bake. No multiple bowls required for frostings or fillings and no extra efforts to be made for garnishing. That’s what we call convenient baking!! These Bailey’s Coffee Streusel Muffins can double up as your breakfast and as dessert too!! The chocolate muffins have a coffee walnut streusel that instantly lifts up your mood and leaves you with a smile on your face :). Instead of using butter that keeps the streusel together and lends the crumbly texture, I have used the Bailey’s Irish Cream Liqueur in these Bailey’s Coffee Streusel Muffins. The […]

Wish we could have a shorter summer here 🙁  Anyways, I have been avoiding baking for a long time because my sister has been away. She has been traveling. She is someone who always appreciates and criticizes my baking. Hence, her presence is absolutely essential for my baking ventures 😀 She is returning tonight so thought of baking something for her. Jyotika loves muffins or a coffee cake with her breakfast. Her eyes light […]

Coffee Streusel Cake

Coffee Streusel Cake

Usually we like our  everyday  cup  of coffee with cookies. But on some days you want something special with it 🙂 That’s the reason for baking this Coffee Streusel Cake. A coffee cakedoesn’t necessarily mean that it has coffee in it. Any cake that you can have with coffee is a coffee cake 😀 no specific  definitions for this one.   This one has a chocolate coffee flavoured streusel in it and has been baked in a Bundt pan. Streusel cakes look lovely when baked in a bundt pan, because you can appreciate the streusel much better in them. The recipe is a personal favourite and I have baked it several times before. Adapted from the […]
