My mother has a thing for granola bars, she loves to snack upon them. Although many varieties are available in the market, but its always good to make it fresh at home without all those preservatives 🙂
Granola Bars are a really healthy snack with lots of energy. Hence a good pre or post workout snack. Though the ones available in supermarkets can be really high in calorie because of the excess sugar and preservatives.
The internet is full of healthy granola bar recipes. And if you can make a little effort you can have your bar healthy and tasty.Healthy Granola bars are the most customizable recipe. Apart from oats you can add all your favorite ingredients like dark chocolate chips,dried cranberries, dried figs, dried apricots, dried prunes, dates, shredded coconut, flax seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, cinnamon, honey, peanut butter, all kinds of nuts …Oh the list is endless !!

Healthy granola bars were decked up with my mom’s favourite ingredients hence she loved them and ate the whole box alone 😀 You don’t have to necesasarily follow the recipe to the point. You can include and exclude whatever you want 🙂
Best stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator but they stay fresh for a long time outside it too.
