Merry Christmas people!! After Diwali this is another good time of the year 🙂
Christmas, New Year and the chilly Delhi winters. A lovely combination!
These beautiful dainty Chocolate Crunch Cupcakes have been made to celebrate the Christmas cheer all around. Last year we had made The Checkerboard Cake for Christmas. So I wanted something equally impressive 😀
These Chocolate Crunch Cupcakes are actually a combination of several recipes we have already made before. The cupcake recipe is the one we used for Chocolate button muffins. But I had replaced the chocolate buttons with mini chocolate chips for the cupcake.
These were then frosted with a dark chocolate ganache and garnished with caramelized nuts.
To make them even more festive, I also garnished the Chocolate crunch cupcakes with a cute little white chocolate flower. I added a little Bailey’s to melted white chocolate and then spread it on a sheet of parchment paper. The chocolate will seize as soon as u add baileys. Don’t worry, just keep mixing it and then spread and cut with a cookie cutter when it has cooled and set for few minutes.
These splendid royal looking Chocolate Crunch cupcakes are a delight to eat. So much chocolate in each bite. The caramelized nuts are another treat for the tongue. Crunch munch crunch munch 😀
I hope you make these for the Christmas Eve and enjoy them with your families. We celebrate Christmas as grand as we celebrate our Diwali. It has nothing to do with our religion. We just tend to love the entire idea of Christmas tree, Santa claus and winters together 🙂 . Have a look at how my sister decks up our Christmas tree on Pumpernickelpixie.com!
Merry Christmas guys!!
