My first truffle recipe!! Chocolatey and yummy!! The best part about this chocolate and cream cheese truffles recipe is the short time in which these can be whipped and the easy ingredients. You can find them easily in supermarkets. And they are a lovely treat for the eyes, so beautiful to look at and awesome in taste. Super creamy and full of chocolate and little peanut butter. Though you can make them without peanut butter too. Whip them up and startle people 😉
Chocolate and cream cheese truffles
Ingredients
- 1 pack cream cheese ( I used amul cream cheese)
- 200 gms chocolate (100 gms dark and 100 gms semisweet)
- 1 heaped tablespoon of peanut butter
Instructions
- Just mix the cream cheese well and smoothen it.
- Melt the chocolate and peanut butter together in a separate bowl in the microwave at 30 second intervals.
- Mix the two together and keep in the refrigerator to set for sometime, around 2 hours.
- Once set, shape into balls and dust with cocoa or chopped nuts or “sprinkles” if you have those around.
